Who enforces it
The Workers Compensation Board of PEI enforces the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It is a consolidated body: the WCB administers both safety and compensation for the province.
Workers compensation and clearances
Contractors generally must register with the province's workers compensation board, and general contractors commonly require a clearance letter before a sub mobilizes. In Prince Edward Island that board is the Workers Compensation Board of PEI.
