Trevor Stuckless spent 18+ years in the trades before writing a line of code: plants, factories, renovations and maintenance. He founded Blue Crane Works Inc. to build the systems he never had on those jobs. He lives in Dundas, Ontario with his wife and three children, and every product here is built and answered by him.
There are two realities for business owners. In the first, the business runs smoothly with a team behind it, making sure everyone has the right documents and every bill gets paid. In the second, the owner scrapes by, largely unnoticed, trying to keep track of everything but too busy to actually focus on the admin.
It makes sense in the moment, but it becomes a huge drag later. Eventually they get inspected or hit by the MOL, and along the way they quietly lose money to misplaced receipts and items that slip through the cracks over the year. Blue Crane solves this.
